XPLEX - The Double Maker

XPLEX is a dual use HIGH IMPACT modified hot and cold polymer for dentures. It was developed in response to the different preferences of the technicians, who are free to choose the method of completion. The new polymer is suitable for cold and hot polymerization. Whether packing, pressing or pouring: the choice of HOT or COLD processing is governed by the respective HOT or COLD monomer component.

COLD or HOT – XPLEX is a system with only three components. This enables optimized stock keeping and limits the source of errors. Corrections and repairs can be performed with XPLEX COLD within the system.

The extended processing time was one of the most important aspects during development, to ensure that the technician feels comfortable with processing and is not put under stress.

The benefits of high-impact material properties

For the laboratory: Compared to conventional PMMA materials, the fracture resistance is increased significantly. Repairs and additions can be performed with the same material quality.

For the dentist: The improved physical properties of the material offer high fracture strength, which can contribute to long-lasting dentures and satisfied patients.

For the patient: More safety in everyday life, even if the denture should be dropped. Furthermore, the material has a tendency to low plaque adhesion, low discoloration and is easy to clean.
